Man is hopelessly bound to sin and indebted to God. We all rightly deserve judgment and hell, but God sent His Son who died, was buried, and was raised to pay our debt and set us free. This salvation is only according to God’s grace through faith to those who believe, and there is no salvation apart from Christ. The result is sanctification, repentance, good works, and confidence in His provision and return.
